sinners 2026 dallas, tx
another show on my support the homies list was sinners tattoo expo in dallas. the show is put on by my old friend brandon albus and his wife sUHA. they do a fantastic job at making this an artist centric experience. this was my second year of doing this show and it definitely doesn’t disappoint. i appreciate the level of showmanship that goes into this one. its an entire production. this is one of my must do sows every year. and i don’t see that changing anytime soon.
a secondary theme to the year has been experiences. so we’ve been riding this high of getting to see new things. we rolled into town after an amazing trip to pocono. which ended with a hike through bushkill falls to see some pretty awesome waterfalls. but that’s a story for another time. today we are talking about the experience driven atmosphere of Sinners tattoo expo. from check in to break down every part of this show has been thought through. if you’re giving away ten grand then that should reflect in the presentation. but friends is the real reson i live shows. i love seeing old ones and making new ones. i was only booked for saturday so i was able to do a ton of talking. i met so many new people and had some great conversations with the og homies.
saturday night was an adventure. after a quick bite to eat at old reliable, velvet taco. shout out to them for being safe for my friend to eat. we found ourselves at a rave club around 3am. one of those secret gems only a few people get to experience. the night was filled with some heavy riddim. sunday was pretty chill. ariel stayed busy and i was able to start a full back piece. thanks to the booth next to us that sent them my way. and the smoke booth across from us, sorry i don’t remember the name as im writing this a few months after, thank you for the club recommendations. we had a blast.
the weekend was ended with a couble of personal appointments and a nights stay at the lorenzo. this place was pretty wild. its like a hotel designed by artists. if you ever get the chance and you find yourself in dallas it is definitely a must. im super grateful that i get to do all these things through art. and im even more grateful to anyone that helps and allows me to live this. i hope you all are enjoying hearing some of the stories i have from the road. until next time… love, peace, and chicken grease.
